On 7th November the Emperor Constantine Conclave conducted its Installation Meeting. The occasion was graced by the presence of the Deputy Intendant-General, V Ill Kt Laurie Young, who was attended, much to the surprise of both, by the volunteering W Kt Paul Fitzgerald  who accomplished his unexpected task with aplomb. Additionally, and showing a remarkable turn of speed up the stairs at Nutfield, following a delayed journey, a contingent of the Divisional Sepulchre Guard who managed to enter the Conclave before the Deputy, who had witnessed their ascent with no little amusement. Fortunately, or perhaps not, there had been a delay in assembling the necessary furniture so a late start had been inevitable.

The main work of the evening was the Consecration and Installation of the Viceroy and the Installation of the Most Puissant Sovereign. E Kt Frank Powell Consecrated and Installed W Kt Denis May in what must be one of the most agreeable and interactive ceremonies in Freemasonry, and was then capably Installed as Most Puissant Sovereign by P Kt Tom Livingstone. He then invested his officers, not one of whom was absent, which must be a bit of a rarity.

V Ill Kt Laurie Young pronounced himself happy with the event, and said that the Conclave was in for a very good future given the enthusiasm and capabilities of its members. A cheerful Festive Board ensued.
